Allen T. Hawn, of Hawn Heating and Air Conditioning Receives Industry's Highest Honor
Allen T. Hawn, President of Hawn Heating & Air Conditioning Inc. has been inducted into the local Air Conditioning Contractor's Hall of Fame.
Each year the local chapter of ACCA selects members from the industry to be honored with a lifetime achievement award of induction into its hall of fame. ACCA is a 4,000 member national contractor based non-profit organization dedicated toward improving the HVACR our industry, promote good practices, and keep homes and buildings safe, clean and comfortable.
Mr. Hawn was chosen based upon his past involvement with the organization at every level including holding the position of local chapter president twice. Mr. Hawn currently runs Hawn Heating & Air conditioning with his son Doug and wife Lois.
Hawn Heating is a family business with deep roots in the community dating back to 1931 when Al Hawn Sr. (Allen T.'s father and Doug's grandfather) started the small fuel oil service business out of his home in Rochester, New York. Today the business is a multi million dollar business employing 20 people and serving everything from commercial rooftop equipment to residential water heaters, serving all of Monroe county and surrounding territories.
The company has a duct cleaning division as well as a full showroom for parts and supplies located at 277 North Winton Road in Rochester. The company is also accredited through the Building Performance Institute to help customers save energy through the Energy Star program and related energy saving products.
