This is a shout out to a local company. I'm not usually big on doing this however I was very impressed.
We woke up to a cold house Friday morning. Furnace had stopped blowing hot air. I didn't panic because I had personally fixed numerous problems with this furnace since we had the house built in 1996. I went to the HVAC repair store on Humbolt St when they opened. Got my parts and came back to go through the repairs. Around 10:30 it was evident I had failed to find the remedy. The next step was to get a contractor who could not only come immediately to give us an estimate to replace the whole furnace but also install immediately. I am one of those guys who has to some due diligence so I was tasked with finding two contractors. I called the famous ones. Right... they are famous for a reason. Betlem got here within the hour. Great guy very knowledgeable and was able to do the install as early as Monday. They would provide us with space heaters till then. I told him I would let him know in a couple hours what we decide.
Then the guy from Hawn came. He also was very knowledgeable. Both companies represented top of the line furnaces so all I had to decide on was who could do it quicker. By 2PM in the afternoon we gave Hawn the sale and by 7PM they had removed and replaced our old furnace with a brand new one. The furnaces were not the same so it was like a brand new installation and remove the old one 5 hours! They did an outstanding job. I couldn't believe how awesome they were. They had 3 guys getting it done on a late Friday afternoon. BTW. Price wise they were within $50 of each other. And the icing on the cake was the Furnace that was supposed to be installed had to be upgraded to Var speed because they couldn't get the one we paid for till Monday. That's $400 upgrade for free just to make sure they stood by their word of getting our family heat the same same day. If any of you are doing HVAC I HIGHLY recommend HAWN.

We have two furnaces and air conditioners. We purchased both from Hawn Heating, and all are terrific. We have had all the service done by Hawn, and that, too, has all been excellent.

We had our A/C and furnace service handled from 1989 to 2005 by Betlem Heating and Cooling. When they continued to give us different inspection reports on a crack in our furnace that could cause CO2 poisioning we decided to change to Hawn. Our new furnace and water heater were installed in 2005 and Hawn has provided our semi annual service ever since. Keep up the good work and thank you Hawn!

After getting several estimates for a new central air unit, I decided to go with Hawn. Lou explained very clearly a lot more than anyone else about what needed to be done and he was very accommodating to my schedule. Doug and Patrick installed the unit 2 days later and were every bit as professional and respectful as they come. They obviously take pride in their work and left my basement cleaner than they found it. It seems that the Hawn name really lives up to its reputation and I would not hesitate to recommend them.

I just wanted to let you know that I received my March RG& E bill this week, and I couldn’t be more impressed with the year-over-year savings since Hawn switched out the old oil furnace for the efficient gas furnace. Even taking into account the mild winter, the savings was incredible!

I was giving a Sunday Brunch for 40 people on an unexpectedly hot April day, 1995 and the air conditioning did not work. Your serviceman came out and got it going for me with a temporary repair and returned on Monday to fix it for the season. Hawn has been my service provider since then. Because of that service at least one family became Hawn regular customers.

We bought our home in January 1995. When we wanted to schedule a service call, there was a label on the furnace listing Hawn service calls from 3-7-89. Naturally, we called Hawn Heating for that first call, and every year since.

We purchased a Carrier Infinity high efficiency furnace and A/C system in 2010 that replaced our 50 Year old Lennox furnace. We received 3 rebates and tax credits. The A/C is a pleasure in the hot days of summer and the furnace saved us 20% on gas bills last winter. Thanks for a great job installing and maintaining our new system.

We have used Hawn for our maintenance on two A/C and Heaters for years. Recently we bought new units. We were very impressed with not only the equipment but the salesmen and installers. All were very informative and personable. We are now looking into a tank less water heater. I have met with many different companies and I would highly recommend Hawn Heating and Air Conditioning.

My old furnace was from Hawn it was lasting 20+ years and upgraded it with a more efficient furnace using the government rebate they were giving away. They really take good care of the equipment and I've had no issues with it.

I found Hawn in the yellow pages. They were prompt in responding to my call. Mike explained all the possible furnaces applicable to my home. Hawn was prompt, courteous and professional in meeting all the requirements in installing the gas furnace system. I will highly recommend Hawn to anyone interested in a furnace upgrade.
